Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026

Exody is a local-first AI workbench. It runs on your Mac, stores your data on your Mac, and communicates directly with model providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Kimi, xAI, DeepSeek, or a local Ollama server) using credentials you supply. We do not operate a cloud service that processes your prompts or code.

What we do not collect

What lives on your machine

All session history, settings, API keys, and the cost ledger are stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Exody/ and are never transmitted to us.

Model providers

When you use Exody with your own API keys, requests are sent directly from your Mac to the provider you choose. The provider's privacy policy applies to that traffic. We are not a party to those requests.

Website

This website (exody.ai) is a static landing page. It does not use cookies, analytics pixels, or tracking beacons. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts; Google may see your IP address when requesting the font files. If you email us at hello@exody.ai, we receive only the content you choose to send.

Mobile bridge

The mobile companion communicates with your Mac over your local Wi-Fi or a Cloudflare tunnel you explicitly configure. Session data never transits through Exody servers.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and note what changed. For questions, contact hello@exody.ai.
